Meet Your Makers are on the verge of walking out of the Extreme Masters World Finals empty-handed following a 16-14 defeat to compLexity.

The American team had looked like it did not have the required pace for this tournament after a 26-4 defeat to Na`Vi earlier today, but they made sure to prove their critics wrong, wrapping up a narrow win over MYM on the very same map, de_train.

Starting off as Counter-Terrorist, compLexity managed to make use of the defensive advantage the map provides, but still the teams were not too distant from one another after 15 rounds as the scoreline registered 9-6 in favour of the Americans.

zet & co. in trouble

In the second half, coL stormed through MYM's defence in the pistol around, which allowed them to pick up the first three rounds and get a lot closer to a win. Although MYM reacted right after, winning the following three rounds, coL kept their game flowing as they emerged 16-14 victors to get their first points in the tournament.

Meet Your Makers, who have two defeats from two games, are now at the foot of the table, and dangerously close to missing out on a spot in the brackets.
